Abstract:Objective To study the diagnostic value of plasma miR-30a in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods A total of 58 AMI patients and 46 healthy people being chosen in this study from February 2016 to February 2017 in Eighth Hospital and Chinese medicine hospital of Wuhan City in Hubei Province . The expression of circulating miR-30a was detected by RT-qPCR, and ROC curve was drawn to test the diagnostic value of miR-181a. Results Serum miR-30a is significantly elevated in elderly AMI patients compared to healthy elders [(0.08±0.04)vs.(0.16±0.06)], P<0.05. There were positively correlations between the expression of circulating miR-30a in AMI with CK-MB (r=0.721, P<0.05) and cTnI(r=0.698, P<0.05). In addition, the diagnostic sensitively and specialty of miR-30a was 84.2% and 69.6%, respectively. Conclusion MiR-30a is highly expressed in serum of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction and has certain diagnostic value in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction.
