Comparison in clinical application between domestic BuMA stent and EXCEL stent in patients with acute coronary syndrome

Abstract：Objective To compare the mid-long term clinical efficacy and safety between drug eluting stents (DES) of BuMA and EXCEL in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods ACS patients (n=346) were retrospectively analyzed in Chinese PLA 252 Hospital, among them, 217 with BuMA stents (BuMA group) and 129 with EXCEL stents (EXCEL group). The clinical baseline materials, and incidence of in-stent thrombosis and cardiac adverse events after PCI for 12 months and 24 months were observed in 2 groups. Results The difference in clinical baseline materials had no statistical significance between 2 groups (P>0.05). The difference in incidence of cardiac death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, target vessel revascularization, in-stent thrombosis had no statistical significance between 2 groups (P>0.05) after PCI for 12 months and 24 months. Conclusion The domestic DES of BuMA is similar to DES of EXCEL in mid-long term clinical efficacy and both of them have higher safety in treatment of ACS patients.
