Rayyan: a new online document management software for systematic reviews

Abstract：Rayyan is new software for online document management. The software was developed by Qatar Computer Research Institute, and launched open to the public use in 2015. Compared with traditional document management software, Rayyan mainly has four characteristics. Firstly, Rayyan is online application software with no need to install. Secondly, Rayyan is completely free, and can easily get access after register by email. Thirdly, Rayyan supports implement of blind method during the process of literature screen. Fourthly, Rayyan releases relevant mobile terminal application system at the same time that can manage literature in mobile devices. In this paper, the application of Rayyan in Meta-analysis is introduced, and its advantages and disadvantages are discussed.
