Abstract:Objective The aims of this study was to evaluate the influence of an innovative management model of specialist-general practitioners team on hypertension patients with poor blood pressure control. Method 170 hypertension grade 2 patients with uncontrolled blood pressure were selected as experimental group. Another 150 hypertension grade 2 patients were selected as control group. The blood pressure compliance rate, the satisfaction rate and the treatment cost were compared between the two groups after 1 month and 2 months. Results After 1 month, the blood pressure compliance rate (54% vs. 70%), the satisfaction rate (79.33% vs. 97.65%) and the treatment cost in the control group and experimental group [(518±58.9) yuan vs. (455.4±61.14) ] Were significantly different (all P<0.05). After 2 months, the blood pressure compliance rate (80% vs. 92%), the satisfaction rate (91.33% vs. 98.24%) and the treatment cost [(410.9±82.69) yuan vs. (297.7±33.91) yuan in the control and experimental groups] There were significant different (all P<0.05). Conclusion It is helpful for specialist and general practitioners to adopt the model of continuous medical management to improve the standard of blood pressure, improve the satisfaction of patients and lower the cost of medical treatment.
