Abstract:Objective To observe the influence of intracoronary injection of ligustrazine on vascular endothelial function in patients with coronary slow flow (CSF). Methods CSF patients (n=60, male 34 and female 26) were chosen from the Hospital affiliated to Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine from Aug. 2013 to Jan. 2017. All patients were divided, according to principle of random draw envelopes, into test group and control group (each n=30). Two groups were all given treatment with aspirin, atorvastatin calcium and trimetazidine. The control group was given coronary angiography (CAG) and then intravenous drip of ligustrazine for 7 d. The test group was additionally given intracoronary injection of ligustrazine during CAG. The clinical efficacy was reviewed after treatment. The endothelia-dependent flow-mediated dilation (FMD) was measured by using ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, and changes of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were detected. The patients were followed up for 6 months after treatment and status of complications were recorded including arrhythmia, stroke, heart failure and myocardial infarction. Results There were 25 (83.3%) cases with significant efficacy, 4 (13.3%) with efficacy and 1 (3.3%) without efficacy in test group. There were 19 (63.3%) cases with significant efficacy, 6 (20.0%) with efficacy and 5(16.7%) without efficacy in control group. The total effective rate was higher in test group than that in control group (96.7% vs. 83.3%, P<0.05). FMD increased in 2 groups after treatment and increased more significantly in test group [(7.44±1.55)% vs. (10.34±1.98)%, all P<0.05]. The levels of IL-6 and TNF-α decreased in 2 groups after treatment, and decreased more significantly in test group (all P<0.05). After follow-up for 6 months, incidence of complications was significantly lower in test group than that in control group (6.7% vs. 33.3%, P<0.05). Conclusion The intracoronary injection of ligustrazine can significantly improve vascular endothelial function, inhibit inflammatory factor level and increase clinical efficacy in CSF patients.
