Abstract:Objective To study application effect of balloon pressing method in interventional treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions. Methods From January 2017 to July 2017, 68 patients with coronary bifurcation lesions were enrolled in the study. The patients were divided into observation group and control group. The control group was treated with traditional interventional methods, the observation group was treated with balloon pressing and interventional therapy, the efficacy of the two groups (the success rate of the balloon into the branch, the success rate of the balloon into the branch after the exchange of interventional techniques, and the total success rate of surgery), operation index (operation time, number of balloon used and operation cost), and complications were compared. Results The success rate of the balloon into the branch was 82.35% in the observation group, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (58.82%, P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the success rate of the balloon into the branch after the exchange of interventional techniques, and the total success rate of surgery (P>0.05). The operation time, the number of balloon used and the operation cost of the observation group were significantly less than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The complication rate of the observation group was 5.88%, which was significantly lower than that of the control group (23.53%, P<0.05). Conclusion Balloon pressing method was effective in the treatment of coronary bifurcation lesions. It can improve the success rate of the balloon into the branches, and the safety is better. When the operation is difficult, the exchange of interventional techniques can be carried out in time, to achieve satisfactory interventional treatment effect and deserve to be popularized.
