Abstract:Objective To analyze the application values of detection of ubiquitin activating enzyme E1 (UBE1) and telomerase in pleural-peritoneal fluid cells in patients with heart failure of coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods The samples of pleural-peritoneal fluid from 57 patients saved in the Department of Clinical Laboratories of the First People's Hospital of Xinxiang City were chosen from Jan. 2013 to Jan. 2016. All samples were divided into heart failure group (n=30) collected from the patients with grades from Ⅲ to Ⅳ coronary stenosis (excluding other death causes), CHD group (n=15) from the patients with grades from Ⅰ to Ⅳ coronary stenosis (without heart failure, and death causes being craniocerebral trauma or mechanical injury) and normal control group (n=12) from the patients without heart disease history and cardiac organic lesions, and death causes being craniocerebral trauma or mechanical injury. The expressions of UBE1 and telomerase were detected by using immunohistochemistry staining method in all groups. Results The percentages of UBE1 with positive and strongly positive immunohistochemistry staining were significantly higher in heart failure group than those in CHD group and normal control group (all P<0.05). The percentages of telomerase with positive and strongly positive immunohistochemistry staining increased significantly in heart failure group compared with CHD group and normal control group (all P<0.05). The value of integral optical density (IOD) of UBE1 was 1201.14 (943.19~1672.31) and that of telomerase was 12643.81 (11231.07~13519.31) in heart failure group, which were significantly higher than those in CHD group and normal control group (all P<0.05).Conclusion The expressions of UBE1 and telomerase increase significantly in pleural-peritoneal fluid cells in patients with CHD heart failure, and they have potential application values in diagnosis of CHD heart failure.
