Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical significance of detection of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), homocysteine (Hcy), ischemia modified albumin (IMA) and heart-type fatty acid-binding protein (H-FABP) in risk stratification of acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods ACS patients (n=300) were chosen from the Ninth Hospital in Xi'an City of Shaanxi Province from May 2015 to Apr. 2016. All patients were divided, according to GRACE risk scoring, into low-risk group (n=85), medium-risk group (n=150) and high-risk group (n=65), and meanwhile health controls (n=100) were chosen into control group. The levels of hs-CRP, Hcy, IMA and H-FABP were detected in all groups. Results The levels of hs-CRP, IMA and H-FABP showed an ascending trend in all groups (allP<0.05). The level of Hcy increased in low-risk group, medium-risk group and high-risk group compared with control group (allP<0.05). The level of Hcy was lower in medium-risk group and high-risk group than that in low-risk group (allP<0.05).Conclusion The levels of hs-CRP, IMA and H-FABP will increase as ACS risk increases, and they have important values in risk stratification of ACS.
