Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical features and influence factors in elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated by metabolism syndrome (MS).Methods The elderly patients with CHD were chosen from the People' Hospital of Kaizhou District of Chongqing City from Jan. 2010 to Jun. 2016, and divided into CHD+MS group and CHD group. The differences in indexes of clinical features were compared between 2 groups by using single-factor analysis and multi-factor analysis, and relevant influence factors of CHD complicated by MS were analyzed. Results There were totally 392 patients chosen, and 240 in CHD+MS group (61.2%). The single-factor analysis showed that the difference in BMI, smoking index, blood pressure, FPG, TC, TG, FIG, lesion coronary vessels and stenosis severity had statistical significance between 2 groups (P<0.05). The multi-factor analysis showed that the risk factors of CHD complicated by MS ranked as follow orders: FPG, lesion coronary vessels, stenosis severity, blood pressure, TG, smoking index, BMI, FIB and TC.Conclusion The patients with above mentioned risk factors should be given therapies for correcting metabolic disorder, and they should have less smoking or cessation, more exercises and diet regulation for reducing the incidence of complicated MS and improving the preventive and curative effects on CHD and cardiovascular events.
