Abstract:Objective To analysis the changes of metabolites before and after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods CHD patients (n=400, male 208, female 192 and average age=61.1±10.1) were chosen from Beijing Anzhen Hospital from Jan. 2013 to Nov. 2013. All patients were received PCI, and blood samples were collected before and after PCI. The changes of metabolites were analyzed by using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Results The changes of citrulline, corticosterone, cobalamin, D-ribose-5-phosphate, malic acid, serotonin, hydroxyl cholesterol, phospholipids, cardiolipin, cholesterol, prostaglandin F, 3-hydroxyamyl-carnitine and 1,25-dihydroxy D were more significant after PCI compared with those before PCI (allP<0.05). The changes of steroid hormone, steroid, glycerophospholipid and linoleic acid were significant after PCI compared with those before PCI (allP<0.05).Conclusion The body metabolism, metabolites and relevant metabolic pathways will change before and after PCI, which can provide a new thinking for post-PCI treatment.
