Abstract:Objective To study the application effect of resistance exercise therapy in treatment of heart failure of coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods The patients with CHD heart failure (n=160) were chosen from the Second People's Hospital of Deyang City from Jan. 2015 to Dec. 2015, and divided randomly into test group and control group (eachn=80). The control group was given anti-heart failure drugs and test group was additionally given resistance exercise therapy. The scores of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end-systolic volume (LVESV), left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV), N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), long-pentraxin (PTX-3), heart-type fatty acid-binding protein (H-FABP), 6-minute walk distance (6MWD) and quality of life (QOL) and curative effect were observed in 2 groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, LVEDV, LVESV, LVEF, PTX-3, H-FABP and NT-proBNP decreased in 2 groups, and were all lower in test group than those in control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of 6MWD and QOL decreased in test group, and 6MWD score was higher and QOL score was lower in test group than those in control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate was higher in test group (77.50%) than that in control group (61.25%,P<0.05). Conclusion The resistance exercise therapy can significantly improve heart function, exercise ability and QOL in patients with CHD heart failure.
