Abstract:Objective The effects of different doses of puerarin injection and low molecular weight heparin sodium low molecular weight heparin sodium injection on blood clotting and platelet function in healthy volunteers were measured and compared by Sonoclot coagulation analyzer. Methods 20 healthy volunteers in Beijing Fuzhu Hospital in March 2016 were enrolled as subjects. All subjects were given peripheral blood samples followed by different doses of puerarin injection or low molecular weight heparin sodium injection. The coagulation time (ACT), coagulation rate (CR) and platelet function (PF) were measured by Sonoclot coagulation analyzer. Results ①With the increase of the concentration of puerarin injection and low molecular weight heparin sodium injection, the ACT value increased gradually, the CR value decreased gradually, and the PF value decreased gradually (P<0.01). ②Under the same ACT value, the CR value of puerarin injection was much higher than that of low molecular weight heparin sodium injection (P<0.05), and the PF value of the two was close with no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion In vitro, puerarin injection and low molecular weight heparin sodium injection has similar anticoagulant and antiplatelet effects. In the concentration range of this study, puerarin may have a lower risk of bleeding, suggesting that anticoagulant and antiplatelet effects of traditional Chinese medicine cannot be ignored. In clinical applications should try to avoid using puerarin injection with anticoagulation drugs or antiplatelet drugs at the same time.
