Abstract:Objective To analyze the risk factors related to in-stent restenosis (ISR) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated by diabetes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods The patients (n=84) with CHD complicated by diabetes undergone PCI and followed up with coronary angiography (CAG) were chosen from the People’s Hospital of Gaoyou City from Mar. 2013 to Mar. 2016, and the patients with ISR (n=36) were set as ISR group and those without ISR (n=48) were set as non-ISR group. The high risk factors related to ISR were retrospectively analyzed. Results The possible factors correlated to ISR were counted, and the multi-factor Logistic regression analysis on significant variables showed that the risk factors related to ISR included smoking (OR=4.840, 95%CI 2.155~7.604), hypertension (OR=4.486, 95%CI: 2.445~7.864), abnormal body mass index (BMI,OR=2.289, 95%CI: 1.375~3.950), triglyceride (TG,OR=2.066, 95%CI: 2.966~28.313), lesion reference diameter<3 mm (OR=3.254, 95%CI: 1.748~5.900) and target lesion length (OR=4.538, 95%CI: 2.172~10.143). Conclusion Smoking, hypertension, abnormal BMI, TG, lesion reference diameter and target lesion length are risk factors for predicting ISR in patients with CHD complicated by diabetes after PCI.
