Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of exercise rehabilitation exercise on cardiac function and self efficacy in elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods Elderly patients with chronic heart failure treated in the first hospital of Qinhuangdao from June 2013 to June2015 were randomly divided into control group and observation group. On the basis of same clinical medical treatment for both groups, the observation group received exercise rehabilitation training additionally. After 8 weeks of intervention, the therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed, and the differences of quality of life, cardiac function and self-efficacy between the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in quality of life between the two groups before and after the intervention. The quality of life of the two groups were higher than before the intervention, and that in the observation group was significantly higher (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in cardiac function between the two groups before the intervention. The cardiac function indexes of the two groups were better than before the intervention, and the improvement of the observation group was more significantly (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in self-efficacy scores between the two groups before and after the intervention, the self-efficacy scores of the two groups were increased, and the observation group was significantly higher (P<0.05).Conclusion Exercise rehabilitation exercise can obviously improve the heart function and self efficacy of patients with chronic heart failure, and improve the quality of life.
