Abstract:There are five genetic models commonly calculated when the Meta-analysis of genetic association study is performed, which could increase the times of statistical tests and probability of false-positive results. In addition, there are multiple loci and multiple phenotypes analyzed in a study, which also could increase the probability of false-positive results. Therefore, the corrected value of test results of each genetic model should be given besides of calculating the result of each genetic model for justifying the results whether are false-positive results when performing a Meta-analysis of genetic association study. The aim of this study is to introduce the adjustment methods of multiple tests.
