Abstract:Objective To study and analyze the influence of sequential nursing intervention on man-machine coordination in patients with mechanical ventilation (MV) therapy after cardiac surgery. Methods The patients (n=72) were chosen from the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery in the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University, and then randomly divided into sequential group and routine group (eachn=36). The sequential group was given sequential nursing intervention and routine group was given conventional nursing mode. The curative effect of MV therapy was compared between 2 groups. Results The measured values of P-T, D-I and D-T were significantly lower in sequential group than those in routine group (P<0.05) at the time points of 4 h, 8 h and 12 h after complete awake. The difference in measured value of D-B had no statistical significance between 2 groups (P>0.05) at the time points of 4 h, 8 h and 12 h after complete awake. The measured values of RR, Rinsp and PaCO2 were significantly lower in sequential group than those in routine group (P<0.05) at the time point of 12 h after complete awake. The measured values of PH and PaO2 were significantly higher in sequential group than those in routine group (P<0.05) at the time point of 12 h after complete awake. The excellent and good rate of man-machine synchronization was significantly higher in sequential group (97.22%) than that in routine group (80.56%) and the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). The time of MV and length of hospital stay were significantly shorter in sequential group than those in routine group (P<0.05).Conclusion Sequential nursing intervention plays an active role in man-machine coordination in patients with MV therapy after cardiac surgery, and can effectively reduce man-machine confrontation.
