Curative effect analysis of different doses of Xuezhikang combined with ezetimibe in type 2 diabetes patients with hyperlipidemia

Abstract：Objective To explore curative effect of different doses of Xuezhikang combined with ezetimibe in the treatment of type 2 diabetes with hyperlipidemia.Methods 104 patients with type 2 diabetes complicating with hyperlipidemia were randomly divided into low-dose group (Xuezhikang 1.2 g/d, ezetimibe 10 mg/d), and high-dose group (Xuezhikang 2.4 g/d, ezetimibe 10 mg/d). There were 52 patients in each group. The level of total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), triglyceride (TG) and fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2-h plasma glucose; and inflammatory factors, adverse events rate were measured before and after 1 month’s treatment.Results The improvement of TC, TG, LDL-C, hs-CRP of high-dose group were better than that of the low-dose group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant difference as to adverse events rate, FBG, and 2hPG between high dose group was higher than that of the low dose group (P>0.05).Conclusion High dose of Xuezhikang combined with ezetimibe can better achieve the purpose of lipid regulation, and have better anti-inflammatory effect.
