Abstract:Objective To review the value of dual energy CT myocardial perfusion imaging (DECT) in diagnosis of ischemic cardiomyopathy and correlation between DECT and single photo emmision computerized tomography myocardial perfusion imaging (SPECT).Methods The patients with suspected ischemic cardiomyopathy (n=79, male 56, female 23 and average age=54.72±11.18) were chosen from the Xinxiang Central Hospital from Jan. 2013 to Dec. 2015. All patients were given DECT and SPECT in succession within 1 w. The outcomes of DECT were reviewed taken SPECT as golden standard. Results Among 1343 myocardial segments, there were 1187 (88.4%) normal myocardial segments and 156 (11.6%) abnormal ones identified by DECT, and the sensitivity was 82.6% and specificity was 95.0%. The positive predictive value of DECT was 60.9%, negative predictive value was 98.3% and accuracy was 94.0%. The area under ROC curve was 0.98. The correlation coefficient Kappa was 0.68 between outcomes of DECT and SPECT.Conclusion DECT has a higher efficacy in diagnosis of ischemic cardiomyopathy, and its outcomes were consistent with those of SPECT.
