Abstract:Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics of heart failure in anemic heart disease patients, and investigate the correlation between anemias with heart failure. Methods 140 anemia heart disease patients in the People's Hospital of Langfang City from March 2014 to March 2016 were selected as research subjects, including 24 cases of heart failure. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical characteristics of patients with heart failure, and compared different levels of anemia with incidence rate of heart failure and prognosis. Results The clinical manifestations of patients with heart failure included exertional shortness of breath, palpitations, orthopnea, signs of pulmonary edema, paroxysmal dyspnea, lower extremity edema, hepatomegaly, jugular vein engorgement, angina. 13.6% had heart enlarged; 10.7% had ST segment changed; 7.1% had t wave inversion or depressing;10.7% had sinus arrhythmia; and 14.3% had tachycardia. incidence rate of heart failure, mortality, the number of hospitalizations and length of stay of patients with extremely severe anemic were significantly higher than that of other anemic patients (P<0.05). Result of Pearson's correlation coefficient test showed that anemia degree was positively related to incidence of heart failure (r=0.923,P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical manifestations of heart failure in anemic heart disease patients are varied. Changes of heart can be seed by ECG, and risk of heart failure increases along with anemia degree increasing.
