Abstract:Objective To study Tei index’s feasibility in self-immunity evaluation of dilated cardiomyopathy. Methods 45 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM group) and 45 healthy people (CON group) were chosen for study. The Tei index, CD4+T lymphocyte and CD8+T lymphocyte were detected and compared. The correlation between Tei index and CD4+T lymphocyte, CD8+T lymphocyte were analyzed. Results The CD8+T lymphocyte in DCM group was significantly lower than that in CON group (P<0.05), while Tei index, CD4+T lymphocyte and CD4+/CD8++ were higher (AllP<0.05). The Tei index correlated positively with CD4+T lymphocyte and CD4+/CD8+(correlation coefficient=0.415 and 0.458,P=0.008 and 0.036), while negatively with CD8+T lymphocyte (correlation coefficient=-0.39,P=0.004).Conclusion The dilated cardiomyopathy’s self-immunity is absolutely abnormal. Tei index may act as a biomarker in the evaluation of dilated cardiomyopathy’s self-immunity.
