Abstract:Objective To analyze the nursing in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction complicated with cardiac shock by the treatment of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP).Methods 44 acute myocardial infarction patients with cardiogenic shock of the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from Jun, 2013 to Jun, 2015 were randomly divided into evidence-based group (n=21) and routine group (n=23). Evidence-based group included 16 males and 5 females, with average age of 64.3±12.5 years. Routine group included 18 males and 5 females, with average age of 64.6±12.6 years. Treatment effect, vital signs and patient's satisfaction and hospitalization time and cost were recorded. Results Patients in evidence-based group were able to restore basic vital signs, and were significantly different than before treatment (P<0.05). Patients in evidence-based group had a higher satisfaction degree (80.95%) than that of routine group (65.22%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The effective rate of evidence-based group was 95.24%, the complication rate was 9.52%, and the difference was statistically significant when compared with routine group (P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing should be paid attention when applying IABP. The right choice of nursing with treatment will raise effective rate and reduce complication rate.
