Abstract:Objective To discuss the evidence-based nursing of complications after perradial percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods The patients (n=206) with myocardial infarction (MI) or possibly undergone perradial PCI were randomly chosen from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, and given evidence-based nursing (evidence-based group,n=105) and routine nursing (routine group,n=101) after PCI. Some indexes were compared in 2 groups including degree of satisfaction to nursing service, scores of 36-item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36), and post-operation complications (bleeding, local hematoma, upper limb vein embolism and arrhythmia).ResultsThe differences in age, sex constitution, MI types, MI locations, complications and drug taking had no statistical significance (allP>0.05) between evidence-based group (n=105, male 58, female 47, aged from 35 to 69 and average age=50.7±6.1) and routine group (n=101, male 56, female 45, aged from 34 to 68 and average age=50.2±6.3). The incidence of complications was lower (5.71%) and degree of satisfaction to nursing service was higher (97.14%) in evidence-based group compared with routine group (P<0.05). The scores of SF-36 were significantly lower in routine group than those in evidence-based group (P<0.05).Conclusion After perradial PCI, evidence-based nursing can reduce post-operation complications and improve the degree of satisfaction to nursing service in MI patients.
