Application of Meta-Test software in Meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy

Abstract：Meta-Test software is specially and commonly used for diagnostic test accuracy (DTA) Meta analysis. Meta-Test software based on DOS system operation can accurately process data and draw delicate graphics which is informative in an easy and direct way, and it can perform a subgroup analysis at the same time. The convenient operation with guide, accurate and reliable data process, and powerful graphics function of Meta-Test software make it frequently used in DTA Meta analysis, but its imperfection is that it’s unable to realize the drawing of crosshair plots, scatter plots and edge density plots. In this article a group of DTA Meta-analysis data was taken as an example to systematically demonstrate the whole function of Meta-Test software, including data preparation, analysis, results summary, and plots drawing.
