Influence of rehabilitation training guided by family follow-up on patients after coronary stenting

Abstract：Objective To review the influence of rehabilitation training guided by family follow-up on patients after coronary stenting.Methods The patients undergone coronary stenting (n=102) were chosen from Jun. 2012 to Dec. 2014, and randomly divided into routine group and follow-up group (eachn=51). The follow-up group was given rehabilitation training through following up, medication and education of life style, and routine group was only given discharge guidance. The changes of triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were detected at the time of discharge and 1 y after discharge. The percentages of patients with smoking, drinking, low-salt diet and low-fat diet, and incidence of cardiac events were recorded. Results Compared with routine group 1 y after discharge, TC and blood pressure decreased, and HDL-C increased in follow-up group [(5.26±1.12) mmol/Lvs. (4.30±0.94) mmol/L]、[(137.6±11.6) mmHgvs. (129.8±10.3) mmHg]、[(84.2±9.3) mmHgvs. (75.9±10.0) mmHg]、[(1.20±0.19) mmol/Lvs. (1.37±0.15) mmol/L, allP<0.05]. Compared with routine group 1 y after discharge, the percentages of smoking patients (23.53%vs. 3.92%) and drinking patients (31.37%vs. 7.84%) decreased, and percentages of patients with low-fat diet (92.16%vs. 74.51%) and low-salt diet (94.12%vs. 70.59%) increased in follow-up group (allP<0.05). The incidence of cardiac events was significantly lower in follow-up group than that in routine group (9.80%vs. 25.49%) within 1 y after discharge (P<0.05).Conclusion The rehabilitation training guided by family follow-up is positively significant to life style, blood fat and blood pressure in the patients after coronary stenting, and can reduce the incidence of cardiac events.
