Abstract:Objective The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristic spatial distribution of the population with acute myocardial infarction (AMI)in the Shanghai Yangpu District, and look for hot spots. Methods With of Yangpu District AMI spatial database established, using geographic information system (GIS), global spatial autocorrelation (Moran'sI) and local spatial autocorrelation (Local Moran's I, LISA) method, AMI spatial distribution patterns and rules were explored. Results Results of global spatial autocorrelation analysis showed obvious spatial aggregation among neighborhoods(Imorbidity=0.1012,P=0.0291;Imortality=0.1428,P=0.0281)of AMI (morbidity=45.81/10000; mortality=13.86/10000). Local spatial autocorrelation analysis detected two hot spots of AMI morbidity and mortality: Changbai Community and Yanji Community. Conclusion The spatial distribution of AMI morbidity and mortality in Yangpu District was significantly different. Further research can look for the cause of this difference based on the characteristic, provide scientific evidence for medical resources allocation and management policy adjustment.
