Abstract:Objective To investigate the characteristics and relative factors of dynamic electrocardiogram (DCG) changes in patients with thoracic neoplasm after intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT).Methods The patients (n=97) were chosen from Sept. 2009 to Mar. 2015, and given 24 h DCG monitoring before and after IMRT. The clinical data (age, sex and etc.) were compared, and relationship between parameters of dose-volume histogram (DVH) and DCG changes were analyzed after IMRT.Results After IMRT, DCG had changes in 47 patients (48.4%). The results of Logistic analysis on clinical data and DVH parameters showed that sex and cardiac V40 were correlated to DCG changes (OR=1.584, 1.289,P<0.05).Conclusion Sex and cardiac V40 are independent risk factors of DCG changes in patients with thoracic neoplasm after IMRT.
