The clinical effect exploration of amiodarone combined with succinate metoprolol sustained release tablets treatment for atrial fibrillation with chronic heart failure

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of amiodarone combined with succinate metoprolol sustained release tablets treatment for atrial fibrillation with chronic heart failure.Methods 284 cases with atrial fibrillation with chronic heart failure, which admitted in our hospital during January 2013-January 2015, were selected as the research object. They were divided into the observation group and the control group, according to the stochastic indicator method, each group has 142 patients. The control group was given single amiodarone treatment and the observation group was given succinate metoprolol sustained release tablets on the basis of the treatment of control group. The improvement cardiac function before and after treatment, the total effective rate and adverse reactions occur of the two groups were compared.Results The left ventricular end-diastolic volume, left ventricular ejection fraction, and end systolic volume index of the two groups before treatment was no significant difference. all of the indicators above were improved after treatment. But these three indicators of observation group were obviously more improved than the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group after treatment (92.25%) was obviously higher than that of the control group as 73.94% (P<0.05).Conclusion Amiodarone combined with succinate metoprolol sustained release tablets treatment for atrial fibrillation with chronic heart failure has definite curative effect; it can effectively improve left ventricular function and promote the cardiac function recovery safely, which has clinical application and popularization value.
