Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of dosage forms of metoprolol on HRV (heart rate variability) and QTd (QT interval dispersion) in patients with unstable angina pectoris. Methods 150 cases of unstable angina patients from Mar.2012 to Mar.2014 were selected. They were divided into sustained release tablets group(n=75) and common tablets group(n=75). The sustained release tablets group was given metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets (23.75mg, 1 times / day) and the common tablets group was given metoprolol tartrate tablets (25mg, 1 times/ day) on the basis of routine coronary heart disease treatment program. After 30 days of treatment, the HRV and QTd of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with treatment before, the SDNN, SDANN, RMSSD and PNN50 of all patients were improved(P<0.05); QTd and QTcd of all patients were shortened(P<0.05); the indexes of sustained-release tablet group were changed more obviously(P<0.05). The effective rate of sustained-release tablet group was significantly higher than that of common tablet group (90.7%vs. 78.7%,P<0.05).Conclusions The effect of metoprolol sustained-release tablet is better than common tablet on changing HRV and QTd in patients with unstable angina pectoris.
