Abstract:The meta4diag package is a type of package that is especially used for implementing meta-analysis of diagnostic test accuracy. This package’s function is to analyze diagnostic meta-analysis with Bayesian methods using INLA. It can be used to pool each accuracy as a single proportion and plot the Summary Receiving Operation Characteristic (SROC) curve. However, it does not provide heterogeneity test and bias risk evaluation. This article uses an example to introduce the whole functions of meta4diag package in implementing meta-analysis of diagnostic accuracy tests, including data preparation, calculation implementation, result summary, and plots drawing.
