Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety of EnSite Velocity guided radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) in treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT).Methods PSVT patients (n=60) were randomly divided into X-ray guided RFCA group (X-ray group) and EnSite Velocity guided RFCA group (EnSite Velocity group, eachn=30), and all given electrophysiological examination and RFCA treatment. The duration of RFCA, X-ray exposure time, X-ray quantity, success rate of RFCA and complication incidence were compared and analyzed in 2 groups. Results Compared with X-ray group, the duration of RFCA, X-ray exposure time and X-ray quantity decreased significantly in EnSite Velocity group (P<0.01). The difference in immediate success rate of RFCA and recurrent rate after 3-month follow-up had no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion EnSite Velocity guided RFCA is safe and effective and can reduce X-ray exposure time in treatment of PSVT.
