Abstract:Objective To investigate the treatment rate and control rate of hypertension and influencing factors in hypertensive patients aged 35 or over (including 35) in Shanghe County, and provide the evidence for complicated treatment of hypertension. Methods The patients with hypertension (n=3710, aged 35 or over) were randomly chosen from Shanghe County in 2013, and the unified compiled questionnaire and physical examinations were applied for collecting patients' base information. The influencing factors on hypertension control were discussed by using multiple factor Logistic regression analysis. Results The treatment rate was 70.94% (71.01% in the male and 70.89% in the female), and hypertension control rate was 70.94% (10.45% in the male and 12.81% in the female) in hypertensive patients in this area. The results of multiple factor Logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension control rate was higher in female patients (OR=0.73, 95%CI: 0.58~0.92), those loving exercise (OR=0.61, 95%CI: 0.47~0.79), and those having hypertension family history (OR=0.45, 95%CI: 0.33~0.62), and was lower in those loving salty food (OR=1.70, 95%CI: 1.37-2.11) and those with waist to height ratio≥0.5 (OR=1.53, 95%CI: 1.24~1.89).Conclusion The hypertension treatment rate is higher but control rate is lower, so intervention of life style should be stressed for preventing hypertension comprehensively.
