Abstract:Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy and safety of rosuvastatin and simvastatin in treatment of hyperlipidemia. Methods The patient with hyperlipidemia (n=212) were chosen from Nov. 2012 to Feb. 2015, and then randomly divided into test group and control group. The control group was given simvastatin (20 mg once every evening), and test group was given rosuvastatin (10 mg once every evening) besides of other expectant treatment for 8 w. The effective rate, adverse reactions and blood fat changes were compared in 2 groups after treatment. Results The effective rate was higher in test group than that in control group (95.28%vs. 83.96%). The levels of total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglyceride (TG) decreased and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) increased in 2 groups and was more significant in test group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in test group (6.60%vs. 19.81%,P<0.05).Conclusion Rosuvastatin has significant clinical efficacy in treatment of hyperlipidemia, and incidence of adverse reactions is lower compared with simvastatin, and it is a safe and effective drug for treating hyperlipidemia.
