Danhong Injection plus naoxintong capsule in intervention of early lesion of diabetic nephropathy in elderly patients
Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Danhong Injection+naoxintong capsule on early diabetic nephropathy (EDN) in elderly patients.Methods EDN patients aged over 75 (n=60) were chosen from Feb. 2013 to Aug. 2015, and divided randomly into observation group and control group (eachn=30) on the base of controlling blood sugar. The control group was treated with perindopril for 6 months, and observation group was given Danhong Injection+naoxintong capsule and perindopril for 2 w, and then, continuous oral administration of naoxintong capsule. The changes of quantification of urine protein (UP) and urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER) were compared in 2 groups after treatment.Results After treatment, 24 h quantification of UP and UAER decreased in 2 groups, which was more significant in observation group (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 82.75% in observation group and 55.17% in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of Danhong Injection+naoxintong capsule combining perindopril is better than that of only perindopril in elderly patients with EDN.
