Abstract:Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Danhong Injection on cerebral ischemic stroke and its influence on blood lipid metabolism and nerve function. Methods The patients with cerebral ischemic stroke (n=90) were chosen from Jun. 2012 to Jun. 2014, and randomly divided into control group and observation group (each n=45). The control group was given routine therapy (oxygen uptaking, anti-hypertension, anti-platelet, anti-infection), and observation group was given additionally intravenous drip of Danhong Injection for 28 d continuously. The clinical efficacy, lipid metabolism and neurological functional deficit score (NFDS) were compared in 2 groups. Results The total effective rate was 93.3%in observation group and 77.8%in control group (P<0.05). The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and NFDS decreased significantly in 2 groups, which was more significant in observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion Danhong Injection has reliable clinical efficacy in patients with cerebral ischemic stroke, and can improve significantly blood lipid metabolism and nerve function, which is worth to be popularized and applied in clinic.
