Abstract:Objective To explore the management mode of risk factors in patients with hypertension in community through comprehensive management by family doctor studio. Methods The patients with hypertension (n=450) signed with the family doctor studio in the Health Service Center of Guangwai Community, Xicheng District, Beijing were chosen from Oct. 2013 to Sept. 2014. The cardiovascular risk factors were given comprehensive management for 1 y, and indexes of blood pressure (BP), body mass index (BMI), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and awareness rate and improvement of blood sugar were compared by using questionnaire before and after management. Results Of 450 patients with hypertension, 7.6%were low-risk ones, 36.0%were mid-risk ones and 56.4%were high-risk ones. After strengthening management by family doctor studio, the patients had higher awareness rate in BP, BMI, LDL-C and blood sugar (P<0.05), and the percentages of systolic BP control rate, diastolic BP control rate and patient with physical activities increased significantly, and smoking rate and drinking rate decreased significantly (P<0.01). Conclusion The awareness rate in cardiovascular risk factors and BP control rate are increased significantly through comprehensive management by family doctor studio, which is an effective and feasible way for managing chronic diseases.
