Abstract:Objective To analyze the level of serum adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL) in patients with different lesions of coronary heart diseases (CHD), and discuss the correlation between CHD and ATGL.Methods CHD patients (n=85, male 51, female 34, aged from 41 to 67 and average age=56.3±6.2) were chosen from Feb. 2014 to Aug. 2014, and all of them were given coronary angiography (CAG) examination. The patients were divided, according to WHO standard of CHD diagnosis, into acute myocardial infarction group (AMI group,n=30), unstable angina pectoris group (UAP group,n=30) and stable angina pectoris group (SAP group,n=25). The health cases (n=30) without CHD after CAG examination were chosen as control group. The level of serum ATGL was detected within 24 h after hospitalization. Results Compared with control group, the level of serum ATGL decreased in SAP group, UAP group and AMI group (allP<0.05). The level of serum AGTL decreased in AMI group compared with SAP group (P<0.05), and level of CRP increased in AMI group compared with control group and SAP group (all P<0.05). The patients were divided again, according to lesion severity, into control group, 1-vessel group, 2-vessel group and multi-vessel group, and the level of serum AGTL showed a descending trend as lesion severity increased (allP<0.05). The level of serum AGTL was negatively correlated to BMI, TG, Gensini scores and CRP (r=-0.226, r=-0.324,r=-0.476,r=-0.367,P<0.05), and positively correlated to HDL-C (r=0.365,P<0.05).Conclusion The level of serum ATGL is closely correlated to the severity of CHD, which may be a new serum biomarker for reflecting stenosis of coronary artery.
