Abstract:Objective To investigate the Clinical efficacy of amlodipine combining benazepril hydrochloride in treatment of hypertension complicating coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods The patients with hypertension complicating CHD (n=120) were chosen from Apr. 2012 to Apr. 2014, and divided into study group (n=60, male 37, female 23, aged from 60 to 79 and average age=66.2±5.1), and control group (n=60, male 35, female 25, aged from 60 to 82 and average age=67.3±6.4). The control group was given nifedipine (30 mg/d) and study group was given amlodipine (5 mg/d) and benazepril hydrochloride (10 mg/d) for 3 m. The amelioration of angina pectoris (AP), blood pressure changes, electrocardiogram (ECG) indexes and adverse reactions were compared between 2 groups. Results Compared with control group, the total effective rate of AP amelioration increased (78.3%vs. 91.7%, P<0.05), and total effective rate of ECG indexes improvement increased (70.0%vs. 88.3%, P<0.01) in study group. The levels of systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) decreased in 2 groups after treatment (all P<0.05). After treatment, SBP and DBP decreased in study group compared with control group [(134.5 ±12.7) mmHg vs. (121.0±13.1) mmHg], [(88.4±7.5) mmHg vs. (79.5±6.4) mmHg, all P<0.05]. The comparison in incidence of adverse reactions had no statistical difference between 2 groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Amlodipine combining benazepril hydrochloride has definite clinical efficacy and less side effects in treatment of hypertension complicating CHD.
