Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of amlodipine combining atorvastatin on hypertension complicating coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods The patients (n=150, male 87, female 63, aged from 38 to 79 and average age=60.3±8.8) were chosen from Feb. 2010 to Feb. 2013. All patients were randomly divided into control group (n=75) and study group (n=75), and were given amlodipine (5 mg/d), and study group was additionally given atorvastatin (20 mg/d) for 6 m continuously. The changes of triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), C-reactive protein (CRP), nitric oxide (NO), endothelin (ET), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were compared between 2 groups. The carotid artery intima-media thickness (CA-IMT) was detected by using color Doppler ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. Results The total effective rate was 92.0%in study group and 77.3%in control group (P<0.01). The levels of TG, TC and LDL-C decreased in study group compared with control group after treatment (all P<0.05). After treatment, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and CA-IMT decreased in 2 groups (all P<0.05), and all decreased in study group compared with control group after treatment (all P<0.05). The levels of TNF-α, IL-6, CRP and ET decreased and NO increased in 2 groups after treatment (all P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF-α, IL-6, CRP and ET were lower and NO level higher in study group than those in control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion Amlodipine combining atorvastatin has good clinical efficacy on hypertension complicating CHD, which is worth clinical promoting.
