Abstract:Objective To discuss the curative effects of continuous venovenous hemofihration (CVVH) and sustained low-effciency dialysis (SLED) in patients with IV-type cardiorenal syndrome (CRS).Methods The patients (n=54) were chosen from June 2010 to Mar. 2014, and 25 were treated with CVVH (CVVH group) and 29 were treated with SLED (SLED group). The improvement of heart function, and level changes of mean arterial pressure (MAP), LVEF, serum creatinine (Scr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were observed and compared in 2 groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate on heart function was 96.0% in CVVH group, which was significantly higher than that in SLED group (79.3%,P<0.05). Compared with those before treatment, the levels of Scr (361±46 μmol/L, 336±59 μmol/L ) and BUN [(19.4±4.8) mmol/L, (27.0±6.7) mmol/L] decreased significantly, and MAP [(89.5± 14.7) mmHg, (83.1±16.6) mmHg] and LVEF [(59.5±7.2)%, (51.2±5.7)%] increased significantly in 2 groups after treatment (P<0.05). The ameliorations of MAP and LVEF were more significant in CVVH group than those in SLED group (P<0.05) after treatment. Conclusion These two ways of blood purification all have curative effect on refractory heart failure in patients with IV-type CRS, and CVVH is superior to SLED.
