Abstract:Objective To discuss the therapies and curative effect in treatment of chronic total occlusion (CTO) of coronary artery. Methods The patients (n=138) with coronary heart disease (CHD) were chose from Jan. 2010 to Mar. 2013 and their results of coronary angiography (CAG) showed they had CTO. The revascularization therapies and curative effect were retrospectively analyzed. Results In 138 CTO patients, there were 163 vessels of CTO involving mainly 52 anterior descending branch (LAD), 27 left cyclotron (LCX), 9 Left Main (LM) and 60 right coronary artery (RCA). There were 145 vessels of CTO treated with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), which was successful in 130 vessels, and 101 stents were implanted. There were 17 cases treated with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Conclusion The clinical situation of CTO is diversity but lacks specificity. PTCA, stenting and CABG can be applied in treatment.
