Abstract:Objective To compare 256-slice coronary CT and coronary angiography (CAG) in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease (CHD). Methods The patients (n=50, male 29 and female 21, aged from 37 to 68) with suspected CHD were chosen from May of 2013 to May of 2014. The patients were firstly given examination of 256-slice coronary CT and then given CAG examination. The outcomes were compared and analyzed. Results Taking coronary stenosis≥50%as positive, the sensitivity of 256-slice coronary CT was 40.00%, specificity was 98.18%, positive predictive value was 88.89%, negative predictive value was 81.82%, correct index was 38.18%, coincidence rate was 82.67%, and KAPPA value was 46.28%. Conclusion CAG is superior to coronary CT in the diagnosis of CHD, while coronary CT can be applied in primary screening of CHD patients.
