Abstract:Objective To review systematically the curative effects and safety of sirolimus-eluting stents and zotarolimus-eluting stents. Methods The databases of Cochrane Library, PubMed, Embase and CNKI were retrieved with computer and other assistant retrievals from establishing time to Dec. 5, 2013 for collecting the randomized controlled trials (RCT) about sirolimus-eluting stents and zotarolimus-eluting stents. The quality of the RCT was reviewed and data was extracted independently by 2 reviewers, and analyzed by using RevMan 5.27 software. Results There were totally 7 RCT included. The results of Meta-analysis showed that between zotarolimus group and sirolimus group, the incidence of cardiac sudden death (RR=1.10, 95%CI: 0.73-1.67, P=0.64), MACE (RR=1.11, 95%CI:0.61-2.02, P=0.72), stent thrombosis (RR=0.85, 95%CI:0.42-1.72, P=0.65), target vessel revascularization (RR=1.34, 95%CI:0.76-2.36, P=0.31) and myocardial infarction (RR=0.81, 95%CI:0.57-1.15, P=0.24) had no statistical difference, and incidence of target lesion revascularization (RR=1.83, 95%CI:0.99-3.41, P=0.06) had statistical difference. Conclusion The zotarolimus-eluting stents show significant advantages compared with sirolimus-eluting stents.
