Abstract:Objective To get to know the changes of levels of CD3+, CD4+and CD8+(peripheral blood T cell subsets) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) before and after coronary stent implantation. Methods The patients (n=175) with AMI and implanted stents were chosen as AMI group, and other health persons (n=60) with the same age and sex were chosen as control group. The levels of CD3+, CD4+and CD8+were detected in AMI group before stenting and after stenting for 1 d and 7 d and in control group by using flow cytometry. The changes of peripheral blood T cell subsets and influence of TMP grading on these changes were compared in AMI patients before and after stenting. Results In AMI group, the levels of CD3+, CD4+and CD4+/CD8+showed a increasing tendency before stenting and after stenting for 1 d and 7 d, and CD8+level showed a decreasing tendency, and the difference between AMI group and control group had statistical significance (P<0.05). The levels of CD3+, CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were higher, and CD8+was lower in TMP-2 group and TMP-3 group than those in TMP-0 group and TMP-1 group (all P<0.05). Conclusion The composition of peripheral blood T cell subsets is abnormal in AMI patients, and will be improved after coronary stent implantation.
