Abstract:Objective To discuss the influences of psychological nursing intervention on anxious and depressed levels in patients with CHD and selective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods The patients (n=80) were given continuous surveys from Feb. 2013 to Mar. 2013, and then randomly divided into intervention group and control group (each n=40). All patients were asked to complete the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and State Anxiety Inventory (STAI) respectively at hospitalizing time, after psychological nursing intervention and after PCI. The changes of anxious and depressed levels were compared and analyzed in 2 groups. Results The patients of intervention group and control group were all in anxious state at baseline, and anxious scores were, respectively, (44.4±9.4) and (44.8±10.6). After psychological nursing intervention and PCI, anxious scores were, respectively, (40.4±9.4) and (38.6±10.4) in intervention group, which were significantly lower than those in control group (44.2±8.6) and (41.5±9.4). There was no statistical difference in anxious scores between 2 groups at baseline (P>0.05) and after psychological nursing intervention and PCI there was statistical difference in anxious scores (P<0.05). The level of depression had no significant changes in 2 groups before and after psychological nursing intervention. Conclusion The patients will have significant anxious emotion before selective PCI, and psychological nursing intervention can effectively relieve this emotion.
