Abstract:Objective To survey the situation of secondary prevention in aged patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) in army sanatoriums in Beijing area. Methods The aged patients with CHD (n=249) were chosen from sanatoriums by using cross-section study method. The data of complicating hypertension and hyperlipidemia, and administration of drugs of anti-hypertension, blood lipid regulation and antiplatelet were collected from the patients. The levels of TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C were detected by using enzyme method, and blood pressure (BP), blood lipid attainment and drug administration were analyzed. Results The average age of 249 aged CHD patients was (84.4 ±3.33) years old. There were 89.2%patients with complicating hypertension, 97.7%patients up to standard BP and among them 94.6%treated with anti-hypertension drugs. There were 93.4%patients up to standard TC level and 5.6%with borderline high TC. There were 94.0%patients up to standard LDL-C level, 4.8%with borderline high LDL-C and 1.2%with high LDL-C. There were 76.7%patients up to standard TG and 13.7%with borderline high LDL-C. There were 9.6%patients with high TG, 38.5%with normal HDL-C, 23.7%with low HDL-C and 37.8%with high HDL-C. There were 4.0%patients with single abnormal lipid index and 24.3%with 2 abnormal lipid indexes. There were 89.6%patients took lipid regulation drugs, 85.5%took antiplatelet drugs and among them 73.2%took aspirin and 19.2%took Polivy. Conclusion The proportion of patients with hypertension is higher in CHD patients in army sanatoriums, and they have higher medication compliance, higher BP standardizing rate, higher control rate of blood fat, lower incidence of hyperlipidemia and higher usage rate of antiplatelet drugs.
