Clinical efficacy of Yiqi Fumai Injection on hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Fumai Injection on hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM). Methods The patients with HOCM (n=34) were randomly divided into observation group (n=16) treated with Yiqi Fumai Injection, and control group (n=18) treated with Dengzhanhua Injection all for 28 d. The clinical efficacy and changes of echocardiogram parameters were compared between 2 groups before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate was 81.3%in observation group and 27.8%in control group (P<0.01). In observation group, interventricular septal thickness (VS), left ventricular posterior wall thickness (LVPWT), LVDED, LVSED, aortic root dimension (AOD), LVEF and cardiac output (CO) had no statistical difference before and after treatment (P>0.05), and SAM grading, velocity of left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT), mitral diastolic peak A and peak E, IVRT, LVDPFR and LVDPFT had significant and statistical difference before and after treatment (P<0.05). The comparison in all above indexes had statistical difference between 2 groups (P<0.05). In control group, all above indexes had no statistical difference before and after treatment (P>0.05). Conclusion Yiqi Fumai Injection can improve the diastolic function of HOCM, reduce LVOGT and relieve LVOTO with good short-term curative effect.
