Abstract:Objective To observe the influence of contrast agent in different doses on renal function in patients with coronary arteriography (CAG). Methods The CHD patients (n=234) with CAG were chosen from Dec. 2009 to Jul. 2012, and divided into low-dose group (contrast agent dose<200 mL, n=127) and high-dose group (dose≥200 mL, n=107). The changes of BUN, SCr and urinaryβ2MG were compared between 2 group before CAG and 1 d and 7 d after CAG. Results The levels of SCr, BUN and urinaryβ2MG increased significantly in 2 groups 1 d after CAG (P<0.05), and fall back significantly 7 d after CAG. The comparison in levels of SCr, BUN and urinaryβ2MG showed statistical difference between 2 groups respectively 1 d and 7 d after CAG (P<0.05). Conclusion CAG can induce the damage of renal function and the severity of the damage will be exacerbated as contrast agent dose is increased.
