Advances in pathological mechanism and pharmacology of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

Abstract：Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)is an extremely lethal neurodegenerative disease.Despite significant breakthroughs in the understading of pathological mechanism and pharmacology of ALS,there remains no cure for this disease,nor are there any effective drugs.In this paper,we reviewed the literature on the pathological mechanisms,clinical therapeutic drugs,drugs under research and efficacy evaluation models of ALS in recent years,in order to provide useful references for the development of new drugs and clinical treatment of ALS.
