Abstract：The year 2024 witnessed remarkable growth in the global biopharmaceutical industry.During this period,the United States,the European Union,Japan,and China continued to advance their new drug creation strategies,achieving significant breakthroughs in disease areas with unmet clinical needs,such as oncology and rare diseases.Accelerated approval mechanisms implemented by regulatory agencies further enhanced the efficiency of innovative drug launches.The global biopharmaceutical industry has demonstrated robust growth momentum across multiple dimensions,including sustained expansion of market demand,rapid iteration of emerging technologies,and enhanced international R&D collaboration.This article summarizes the newly approved drugs in the United States,the European Union,Japan,and China in 2024,and provides an outlook for new drug R&D and the development trend of the biopharmaceutical industry in 2025,aiming to provide a reference for researchers in the field of new drug R&D.
