The research progress on the chemical composition,pharmacological effects,and quality marker prediction of fructus cannabis

Abstract：Fructus Cannabis is the dried mature fruit of Cannabis sativa L.,a plant belonging to the Moraceae family.The drug has been found to contain various chemical components,including fatty acids and their esters,cannabinoids,lignan amides,sterols and terpenes,flavonoids and their glycosides.Based on a comprehensive review of the chemical composition and pharmacological effects of Fructus Cannabis,this paper focuses on the concept of quality markers(Q-markers)in traditional Chinese medicine.By considering the factors such as plant phylogenetics,component measurability,traditional efficacy,traditional medicinal properties,and variations in component content due to geographical origin and processing methods,the Q-markers of Fructus Cannabis were predicted and analyzed.The results suggest that Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol,linolenic acid,linoleic acid,palmitic acid,oleic acid,stearic acid,and trigonelline can serve as Q-markers of Fructus Cannabis.This study provides a reference for establishing a scientific quality standard for Fructus Cannabis.
